Don’t let the aftermath of Hurricane Florence stall your fun! There are still a few things to do in and around Jacksonville this upcoming weekend and we think you (and the kids) deserve it!
Are your children going stir crazy during this hectic September? Chalk At The Park begins on Saturday the 29th, at 10:00 A.M. This event is a great opportunity for your kids to get out of the house and get artistic. View more information at the link. Happy Chalking!
While the pumpkin patch is open now at the Fishstrong Station in Hubert, tours through the Haunted Trail & Hayride will be held on Fridays & Saturdays starting on the 28th, and continue into October. For more information about the events, visit the site here.
Not only will this event at Mike’s Farm host antique tractors and equipment, there will also be pumpkin patch hayrides at 10:00 a.m., BBQ plates beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the restaurant is slated to open at 2:00 p.m. On the Facebook event page, there is even mention of a live music to fundraise for Hurricane Florence victims! Bring canned goods and non-perishables, or cleaning supplies to donate to the local community and receive a FREE hayride ticket to the pumpkin patch.
This event is ON for the weekend and Beaufort Wine and Food will be donating all the proceeds to hurricane relief efforts in Eastern, NC. Here is a list of the participating breweries. Events begin on Friday and continue into Saturday. Visit their website for more information.
